Parking Information

Summers Street Parking Garage

The Summers Street parking garage is located one block NE from the cinema. Turn right onto Summers Street from Lee Street or left from Quarrier Street and the garage entrance is about halfway through that block. The elevator and staircase in the SW corner exit by the Brawley Walkway which will lead you directly through to the Taylor Books entrance.

Parking Rates:

$1.00 per hour at lower level SMART meters
$0.25 per hour at rooftop mechanical meters
FREE after 5:00pm on weekdays and all day Saturdays and Sundays

Street Parking

Metered street parking is available throughout most of downtown Charleston. Paying the meter is only required between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday-Saturday, making street parking free in the evenings and on Sundays. Many City of Charleston meters accept credit cards as well as nickels, dimes and quarters.
